Introducing version 4.0.1 of Webroster.net: Updates to the Supplier and Provider Modules

Webroster.net version 4.0.1 will be released on Wednesday 25th July 2018. This release adds to the functionality introduced to our Provider module in version 3.9.0 with new functionality for the Hub extension.

Please note: the Hub is a new extension to our Provider module in Webroster.net, providing users with a more streamlined way of working with suppliers who also use Webroster.net themselves. The Hub extension takes the hassle out of importing and exporting supplier timesheets. If you are interested in learning more about the Provider module, or its Hub extension, please email sales@webroster.com or contact your account manager.

Version 4.0.1 of Webroster.net also includes a few bug fixes across the Supplier module, Supplier Portal, and Provider module.

There should be no noticeable system downtime to Webroster.net or any of its associated services.

In summary, version 4.0.1 of Webroster.net will include the following updates to the Supplier and Provider modules:

  • Validate uploaded timesheet real times based on a percentage tolerance.
  • Control whether ECM pins are required to arbitrate timesheets with real times.
  • Control whether verified timesheets are displayed within arbitration lists.

Validate uploaded timesheets using a percentage tolerance

When a provider uploads timesheets, you can now use a percentage tolerance to validate the time a staff member checked-in or checked-out of a visit.

For example, you can specify that check-ins and check-outs are to be tolerated up to 50 per cent before or after the start or end of a visit. This could be 30 minutes after the visit start time if the visit was scheduled to be an hour long.

This new option can be found as part of the External Provisioning section within Setup.

Validate uploaded timesheets using a percentage tolerance

You can now control whether supplier ECM pins are required when arbitrating timesheets that use real times. This new setting supports the Hub processing extension and can be located in Arbitration Setup.

  • By default, ECM pins are required for timesheets with real times e.g. the setting will be set to True by default for current systems.
  • For systems using the Hub processing extension, this setting will need changing to False.

A new setting has been added in Arbitration Setup to control if timesheets verified for payroll are displayed when viewing timesheets in arbitration.

  • To maintain current functionality, verified timesheets are still displayed and the setting will be set to False as default for current systems.

General Updates and Fixes

  • Fixed a problem in Webroster.net where the page errored when saving timesheets in arbitration with a note. This will now save successfully.
  • Suppliers can now print proformas from the portal, not just view them.

  • When using the Provider module, the Service Plan Export can now be run from supplier reports regardless of whether a supplier has access to the Supplier Portal or not. Previously if a supplier had access to the Portal, the export would not run successfully.
  • When viewing timesheets in the Supplier Portal, the table now correctly shows actual times or real times as selected in the drop down.
  • When using the Hub functionality, and reviewing timesheets after import, some of the column titles have been corrected.

  • When using the Hub functionality, timesheets that have been updated by sentinel server/Alert Manager (such as after a missed check in alert) are now included in the list suggested for upload where previously they would be ignored. Where a timesheet has been updated, details of the user and alert reason are also added into the timesheet note.

  • Cleaned up some user interface issues within the Supplier Portal where areas would not display/hide correctly and other minor tweaks.
