The Bee Messaging module brings two-way messaging to the Bee app. Text conversations, booking enquiries and updates to schedules can be sent to field staff using the Bee app quickly and easily from Webroster.net.
Keep staff informed
Bee Messaging enables field staff using the Bee app to be kept fully informed whilst they are out and about. Phone calls and messages back and forth to the office are reduced allowing staff to focus on their job.
Keeping staff up to date is easy with Bee Messaging. System Notification messages can automatically be sent to field staff when their roster changes or bookings are cancelled. Traceability of when messages were sent, downloaded and read is retained in Webroster.net.
The Bee app and Bee Messaging is available for Android phone version 4.1 or above. A version of Bee is available for iPhone 5 and above running iOS 8 and higher, Bee Messaging is not currently available for iPhones. Use our handy guide to check which phones are compatible.
Streamline booking enquiries
Using the Bee Messaging module, booking enquiries can be sent from Webroster.net to the Bee app and managed within the app; allowing field staff to preview bookings in their schedule before accepting a booking.
The Bee Messaging module also allows ad-hoc text Conversations between Webroster.net users and field staff using the Bee app. Field staff are able to favourite messages containing key information, saving the message on the phone for future reference.
An audit trail is created within Webroster.net giving traceability of when messages were sent, downloaded and read.
