Webroster.net V3 was released this morning, in time for our 10th Anniversary celebrations this week.
This major new release includes some big changes and exciting new features. V3 focuses on improving the user experience of Webroster.net and one of the major changes is a significantly improved system speed which has come from an overhaul of Webroster’s underlying code.
But perhaps the most noticeable change from a user’s point of view is the graphical re-design of the system. For the past few months we have been working with a GUI specialist in a bid to bring the look and feel of Webroster up to date. The new look (sneak previews of which are shown above) has been designed to improve usability, productivity and well being. This achieved by creating familiarity and intuitiveness through use of colour and icons.
It has been designed to reduce eye strain and present data in an easy to interpret format to help users get the most out of the system.
V3 also includes the exciting new ‘Mapping’ optional module, where client requirements and staff locations can be displayed on a map instead of a simple list. Additional enhancements include online help, the addition of Customer Extras, editable terminologies and the major Client Groups development.
We’d like to give a big shout out to the Webroster Developers who have spent the past 18 months working on V3, chocolate cake all round, we think!
