Happy Birthday Webroster!

Webroster Ltd was founded on 26th September 2002, which makes it officially 10 years old! We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every customer who has been with us over the past 10 years and we are very much looking forward to the next 10!

Webroster began providing hosted, web based systems to the care industry back in 2002. Since then we have developed the system considerably in line with customer requirements, changes in technology and market trends. Webroster is now used across multiple industries including care, security, cleaning, recruitment and entertainment!

10 years experience in providing software as a service has given us the knowledge and expertise to lead the way with technical developments and provide a fast and reliable system which is used by Local Authorities, charities and hundreds of private organisations. It is through working closely with these customers that we have been able to identify new opportunities to develop both our business and our product.

Since we hosted our first database in 2002, the size of our customers and the databases we host for them has grown significantly – as has the time and computer power needed to process all that data.

With this in mind, we decided to make some changes to mark our 10th anniversary. As a result, Webroster.net V3 was released earlier this week! This is a major development which involved an overhaul of Webroster.net’s back end code and front end design. The result is a faster and more flexible system which focuses on usability and productivity. Enhancements have been made to ensure the user experience is as positive as possible and the backend re-design will provide a solid base for future developments.

V3 also marks a step forward for Webroster in the mobile world as we venture into iPhone apps. PhotoTrac™, our established call monitoring app is now available for iPhones as well as Android phones, making it easier for more of our customers to ‘go mobile’.

10th anniversary celebrations will get under way next week, including  free database MOT days and a charity auction.
