Electronic Monitoring

Webroster.net offers two Electronic Monitoring systems; VOIPTrac™ and PhotoTrac™. Both are designed to work hand in hand with the Webroster.net application to track and monitor staff’s checking in and checking out times.

It is advisable to use each Electronic Monitoring system in conjunction with the Alert Manager Module, so that not only does the system log any late arrivals/early finished, but it raises an alert at the time.

VOIPTrac
VOIPTrac™ uses touchtone telephones for staff to check in and check out. They simply dial an 0800 phone number from a landline phone at the client location and this uses VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) technology to log that particular staff member as having checked in or checked out.

Webroster.net then compares the time of the call with the time scheduled in the roster, and if there is a difference between the two, the Alert Manager Module will send relevant alerts.

PhotoTrac™
PhotoTrac™ uses a barcode reader on staff’s mobile phones to read a barcode left at the client location. This then sends data to Webroster.net, detailing which staff member is at which client location, and logs the time as a check in or check out.

Again, Webroster.net then compares the time of the barcode reading with the time scheduled in the roster, and if there is a difference between the two, the Alert Manager Module will send relevant alerts.

Alert Manager

Webroster.net’s mobile solution, ‘Pocketroster’, allows field staff to view their own roster information from a mobile phone, and update their availability in real time. This eliminates the need for staff to call the office whilst on the road to check for roster updates, and therefore economises on phone and admin costs.
